The Hellenic Journal of Cardiology is the official bimonthly journal of the Hellenic Cardiological Society and has been published on a regular basis since 1957. Since 2002 an international edition in the English language has been published in parallel with the Greek edition.

The Hellenic Journal of Cardiology aims to publish the highest quality material, both clinical and scientific, on all aspects of cardiovascular medicine. The Journal offers the reader a collection of contemporary, original, peer-reviewed papers, review articles and editorials, together with book reviews and case reports.

NEWS - July 2011: The Hellenic Journal of Cardiology has received an Impact Factor

The continuing efforts of the editors and staff of the Hellenic Journal of Cardiology to improve and promote the Journal have recently been rewarded.

In the list of Impact Factors announced in June 2011 the HJC was included for the first time, with an Impact Factor of 1.172.

We would like to thank all our contributors for helping the Journal to progress into this new phase of development and we hope you will continue to send us your high-level research work for publication.

The number of articles downloaded by visitors to this website has now reached 12,000 per month.
